I’m 18 and I’ve had a headache for around 36 hours. It started mild before sleep but became much more severe after waking up. The pain is across my whole head, more in the front/top. When I stay still it’s around 2/10, but even slight movement suddenly makes it extremely painful (up to 10/10) for 10–15 seconds with throbbing/pulsating pain. Light and sound also worsen it. No fever, vomiting, weakness, confusion, vision loss, or trouble speaking. I’ve been very stressed lately, sleeping poorly, and spending long hours on screens. Paracetamol helps temporarily. This is the first headache this severe I’ve had. What should I do?

Ten days later, I learned that monkeys—which were reportedly rabid—had been drinking from the building's water tank. I am concerned about potential rabies exposure since the water may have been contaminated and came into contact with my mucous membranes (eyes and mouth) shortly after the monkeys were present. It's been 43 days since this incident, I am really anxious.
