I did Utica acid test on feb 26 and value is 7.4 and repeated today. Value is 7.39. Creatinine is normal 1.07. Do I Med's to take any medications or can I control through diet. I am vegetarian and taking only egg. Stopped eating tomato, cabbage and mushrooms. Very limited intake on these vegetables. Please suggest

My aunt is a case of Ca endometrium with total hysterectomy in 2014 , post chemotherapy underwent surgery for reccurent pelvic mass . Underwent 28 nos of radiation therapy in pelvic area post operation in May 2025. Now she is having excessive weakness since past few months, being tested shows Hb too low (3 unit) Creatinine-12.3 unit, Urea-366 unit. With no significant mass formed in pelvic area . After doctor consultation underwent 2 units of PRBC transfusion with Dialysis. Post dialysis her reports are Hb-8 unit , Creatinine-5.77 and Urea-160 unit. What is her prognosis and whats should be our next course of action?

I have pin point ulcers in my stomach and doctor prescribed ppi tablets 3 times daily. I duration was about 2 months. And my question is while i taking this medication for 2-21/2 months my kidney get injured because of taking ppi for this duration?

5 years ago, my Serum creatinine- 1.13 mg/dl (out of 1.20),  urea-22, BUN-8, UACR-1 MG/G Today my result is almost the same. Creatinine 1.15(out of 1.20),  Urea-19, BUN-9, chloride -101 meq/l, bicarbonate 26 meq/l. UACR-1MG/G.. haemoglobin- 14.8 gm/dl. What does it indicate? I am 5'11, weight-81kg.

I have been continuously doing health check ups for the last 8 yrs , I am a pure vegetarian, always my urea and BUN remains lower , what could be reason , is it harmful

My UPCR is 0.18 Protein is 1.80 and creatinine is 9.96 But I drink around 2 litr of water and urinate 3 to 4 times before giving urine to to the test Should I consider above value as normal ? Is there any chance that due to overhydration values could be false negative?

I am attaching usg report. Kindly suggest what further kidney tests are required. He faces dificulty passing urine and pelvis pain bp fluctuations.

Hi I had annual check up with my doctor. I had blood tests and urine test. I ate beetroot for lunch and dinner the previous day. Next day morning went in fasting and gave the blood work and urine sample. I saw the urine color little red/pinkish as it always be like that for me whenever I eat beetroot. I told the nurse that I ate beetroot and if it's ok to give urine sample. She said it's ok and I gave the sample. I got the report and it says occult traces of blood and rbc 3-10 in blood. I am worried if it's indicating any serious issues. I don't have any pain or irritation while passing urine.. never got that abnormal urine results before. This is the first time. I have other health issues.Diabetic, blood pressure, seronegative RA, inflammation markers high and venous insufficiencies. I have leg swelling and stiffness since January and I saw rheumatologist for that. Still have mild swelling on the lower legs and ankle with pitting. Do I need to ask further tests?Is this dangerous

My mother 86years old.Her one leg swelled.uric acid level in blood is 12.4.What could be the problem.Which doctor we have to consult?What happens if excess of medication?

My dad has previous heart surgery and recently his creatinine levels are increasing rapidly now it is 3.6. He has low hemoglobin levels as well. Liver infection is showing in reports. He has swelling in legs sometimes breathless ness Please suggest do we need dialysis in this? Is this treatable?
