I have severe acidity, my mouth is turning sour from everything I eat, my stomach is burning, I can't eat sweets or bread at all, what should I do?

Hello Doctor, I am having pain while swallowing food and even while drinking water for some time. I have already undergone tests like endoscopy (UGIE), HRM/manometry, CT thorax and gastric emptying study. Endoscopy and CT were normal, but manometry showed ineffective esophageal motility. I also have a history of reflux/GERD and hypothyroidism. Currently my main symptoms are: Pain while swallowing food Pain while drinking water Mild throat/chest discomfort and anxiety due to pain No vomiting, no breathing problem, and bowel movements are normal. Recently I also noticed a small painful lump/swelling below the ear/upper neck area. Current medicines: Thyroxine Itopride Antacid/alginate syrup BP medicine (Telmisartan) Please suggest what could be the possible cause and what further evaluation or treatment is needed.

Hello Doctor, I have been suffering from IBS. However,  for the past 1 month, my symptoms have worsened significantly. Almost every time I eat, I experience loose motions either immediately after a meal or within a couple of hours. Due to this condition I have experienced significant weight loss. My weight has reduced from 94 kg to 83 kg in 1 month without any intentional dieting or increase in physical activity. I checked with nearby Doctor as per his advice i took Orni-0, Entroginol and Nexpro RD 40 but no help. Kindly advise what tests or investigations I should undergo and the appropriate treatment.

I have been having constipation for the past few months. My stools are often small hard pellets / dry stools and I frequently feel incomplete bowel evacuation. Even after passing stool, I feel like some stool is still left behind and rectum does not feel fully cleared. Sometimes I have the urge to pass stool but it does not come completely. I noticed that squatting helps me empty better compared to sitting on a western toilet. I have increased water intake to around 3 L/day and diet is normal / controlled, but symptoms are still continuing. Main symptoms: * Hard pellet stools * Incomplete evacuation * Feeling of retained stool after bowel movement * Ongoing for months despite hydration changes Would like evaluation for cause of chronic constipation and incomplete evacuation.

I have been diagnosed with Anal fissure and hematoma 2 months 15 days back and hematoma was not there now and doctor prescribed duphalac morning 10ml and night 10ml and anobliss cream.How long both can be used as I feel improvement (70%) during the course?

Hello.. doctor's...!!! From last few times...My liver enzymes is increasing in each test...my psychiatrist even provide me UDCA and vitamin E tablet for reducing that but it still increased...I thought it is happening because heavy antidepressants I am taking and even..Got USG abdomen where I found..it is grade 1 non alcoholic fatty liver...I don't know what is the reason like is it really because heavy medicine use or something else..even got hepatitis A,B and C but all are non reactive...what you think will be the reason for constant increase???!!!

My mother is 52 yrs old..this is my mother's LFT test and it showing the Alkaline phosphate increased to 217.63 U/L then why it is so? is it serious or normal? i m very confused we just did a routine checkup and it showed this plz guide me i m very worried

I am having itchy white skin and a small lump also whitish just at the opening of the anus. I am having problems while sitting down with a burning sensation around anus. Is it dangerous or will it be resolved on its own?

I am a 28-year-old male. For the last 6 months, I have had frequent toilet visits, especially in the morning. The first stool is often hard or sausage-shaped, followed by smaller bowel movements, and I feel incomplete evacuation. There is no blood in stool, weight loss, fever, or significant abdominal pain. I am currently taking Isabgol and Carbamide Forte prebiotics. After increasing Isabgol from 1 spoon to 2 spoons, my stool became softer and today I felt more completely empty after passing stool. Could this be constipation, IBS, pelvic floor dysfunction, or another gastrointestinal condition? What tests are recommended?
