I had low blood sugar after 3 hrs of food endocrinologist had prescribed to do 72 hrs fasting blood sugar test but I am fear is it safe 72 hrs fasting can cause severe hypoglycemia??

I had morning cortisol 23.84 and insomnia can I take melatonin by own to get sleep is doctor prescription required

Hello doctors, I have a quick question. My father age is 64 and he has been suffering with type 2 diabetes from the past 10 years. He is using oral tablets and but his diabetes is still in the range of 300-350 post food. I have taken him to doctor in Bangalore which suggested insulin but my dad is afraid and still wants to use oral tablets only. My question is, what is the solution here? How can I help him to control diabetes without insulin? Is there any latest medication available right now? Your answers would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My blood glucose after 2.5 hrs came 75 is it ok no symptoms or I need any investigations more to  rule out any condition

My earlier lipid profile showed: total cholesterol 241 mg/dL, LDL 145 mg/dL, non-HDL 191 mg/dL, triglycerides 95 mg/dL Hdl 50 mg/dL My latest test (after lifestyle changes) shows improvement: total cholesterol 219 mg/dL, LDL 82 mg/dL, non-HDL 171 mg/dL, triglycerides 85 mg/dL, HDL 48 mg/dL. I have started exercising regularly (walking and gym), don’t smoke, and have no diabetes or symptoms. I am concerned about the still elevated Non Hdl.

I had normal fasting blood sugar but after 3 hrs after food sometimes low like 50 and 66 but sometimes normal 88 87 81 did I need 72 hrs fasting blood sugar test and night sweat and less sleep but no symptoms a days

Did reactive hypoglycemia leads to dibeates in future how much chances are there as body produces more insulin after meal ??

Hi Mime hba1c is 6.4 and i gained weight since last 2-3 years mine current weight is 96 and height 5'6 I am suffering from blackness in knees underarms around neck. I tried to loose weigjt n somehow reduced 3-4 kgs Should i take Mounjaro injections I already wasted my around 1 lakh in pt but didnt work as gym is also a new business I am 37 female and unmarried , these health condition is road blocker for me I also dont have gallbladder so most of the time having stomach issue
