Can someone please tell me if Angioplasty can be done by any doctor or hospital without any consent? A nearby hospital admitted my father who was having chest pain for more than 4 hours, they took him to emergency ward, and without our consent and understanding they did Angioplasty on him. Later we just had one doubt, when my father can survive 4 hours, he could have survived another 5 mins without the process, but at-least we could have been informed. Nobody informed us that he is having a heart attack and he is going to get a angioplasty process done. They just informed us that he is taken for Angiogram. Doctor never visits us and will discuss anything as if he is trying to hide something. We are taking him out to a better hospital and doctor for a second round of treatment. Can someone suggest if the first doctor whatever he did was correct or not? Also, he has no empathy towards family and keeps on saying patient will not survive for long, is this allowed?

My triglyceride is 307, HDL is 31, VLDL is 62, Non HDL CHOLESTEROL is 159 Is it ok or what i need to do please suggest.

Hi I was on tazloc 20 and Prolomet xl 25 for hypertension for almost 2 years, Now my doctor advised me to change to Nebicard 5mg because prolomet will cause ED. CHANGING BETA BLOCKERS will it cause any side effects on my Heart like rhythm issue. I am so concerned about it. How many days it will take for the medicine to adapt since my heart beat is above 100 due to anxiety but no symptoms in the chest. Is nebicard better medicine than prolomet. Kindly clarify.

For high cholesterol my father(66yrs old) taking Rozavel 10mg everyday prescribed by doctor. After using this medicine for one year his latest lipod profile test: Total cholesterol: 186 Triglycerides: 145 Hdl: 72 Ldl: 85 Vldl: 29. So doctor told continue the same medicine. But for some gastritis problem we consult another doctor that doctor prescribed Rozavel 5mg only for 2 days per week. Now we r confuse what should we do?

I am 24/M.. high bp since 3 years, started losartan 25 mg since 7-8 months, no tyroid/kidney/urine trouble. 2 days back travelling in train, sudden symptoms- DIZZINESS, chest pain and anxiety... went to ER,- BP- 180/100... hr-125,2 ecg done- NORMAL.. they gave injection n sent home Consulted my GP next day- she check bp-150/90 then... increased dose to 50 mg n added clonazep 0.5 to take during emergency or travel Tom, i need to travel n desire to know if losartan 50 mg + clozanepem will keep my BP from shooting to the levels it Went few days.. shall I avoid travelling?

My father(66yrs) has been taking bp medicine ctdt6. 25 for 5 years but recently his Bp is increasing and doctor change the medicine into Telsar A. But after taking this medicine for some days he has feeling leg heel swelling and aches problem. So he stop that medicine and start ctdt 6.25 again. But today's bp is 145/98 on bp machine. Now what should we do? Thank you
