Will  getting a ct scan without doctor advice increase the cancer.i had a spine ct after I fell from bike . Second one was  head ct scan, done after after I had bumped against pole. I did not consult doctor . Thanks

Hi Doctor , My mother was suffering from Shortness of Breathe while walking and Climbing stairs from last few months and also had dry cough sometime . Doctor suggested HRCT Thorax and Chest XRay PA view. In Chest Ray PA view everything was normal while the HRCT shows few Enlarged lymph node in Pretracheal region right one being 10.2mm in Right Tracheal region.Is it something i should worried about . Note:- She had taken Ice cream daily for last 2 months

My 50 old father is suffering from blood loss through stool and urine .he is not feeling well from last 2 months.when we tested yesterday after blood transfusion hb is 8.2 and before it was 5.4 and he is feeling better now.and cancer specialist doctor said it's B12 deficiency only no need to do endoscopy and the other doctor said we have to it there is a chance Blood serum percentage is 5000 Note ;he is not eating non veg from last few years & he don't have any habbits drinking smoking etc

Dr sir is pet ct scan a safe dignostic . Will it increase cancer risk . Pet ct provide 25 msv radiation . Is it enough to cause cancer...

I have been suffering from tounge iritaiontin since 3 month and My PET CT scan comes normal even multiple doctor's are saying no need for biposy and no one is ready to right that test ...I am not sure what problem I facing.

Hello Doctors i have tb and I'm on 5 months of treatment ( EBUS, genexpert was done) . I'm gaining weight, cough is less but not fully resolving, counting my each&every cough, 40 dry cough total in a day.Done my last CECT on My question is this possible (I'm not a doctor, i don't have any experience that's why asking your kind experience)for a malignant mass to occar with in this three months from August to November, that why my cough is not fully going?

Hello doctors , kindly help me please,i've a question it actually give me sleepless nights because of worry. I on medication for mediastinal lymph node tb (detected by ebus fnac report and genexpert) for 5 months but still having dry cough 30 times in a whole day. I had done my first cect on May and 2nd CECT on august but even after medicine from june node size was same in august. That time I had lots of cough fever weight loss everything but now everything resolved only cough is there. I'm in fear if from August ugust to now November have not done any CECT scan, so my question is,can any new malignancy mass occurred within this span of 3 months time that's why my cough is not resolving fully? Though i'm gaining 8 kg with this 3 months. Please ans me doctor.

Sir I had a contrast ct scan of my left arm .the report was normal but I am worried about my cancer risk from the scan.is there a cancer risk? Thanks
