Kidney Problems

Hi I have taken fosfomycin as recommended by my doctor before sleeping at night after emptying my bladder. She also recommended I avoid urination after taking it to help the bladder absorb the medicine. But what if I need to pass urine? Will it affect the efficacy?

I recently noticed that I didnt had any morning woods and not getting proper erections and so thought of consulting an urologist. The urologist asked me to take USG scrotum and penile screen. The Radiologist injected 2 vials of Papaverine 30 mg/ml directly into penis intracavernosally to stimulate an erection for checking the blood flow. I had priapism with pain, later doctors treated me with blood aspiration and irrigation with saline. I had edema in the penis, which lasted for about a week. I felt pain when the edema was reduced by 80%, I coupd barely move. Now the edema was gone. But i still have pain and the penis has not returned to normal size, even after a week. My question is, 1) Is papaverine recommended for use in 22 year old male,even if its for diagnostic reasons? 2) How long does the edema usually last after priapism? 3) is it normal to have pain after the edema is gone? If so what can I do to reduce the pain? 4) Why the penis hasnt returned to the normal size?

I have attached two ultrasound reports . My son is 2 years old One is year 2024 . Doctor diagnosis the mild left renal hydronephrosis..phle kidney size is 5.6*2.9 and found renal diameter is 5.3mm And recent is year 2025 kidney size is 6.5*3.1 and found renal diameter is 7.4mm What would u suggest on this.

29M Married for 3 Years. I have been diagnosed with kidney stones in the past. Very active sexually with daily activity. I have been facing burning issue while releasing semen / or after releasing sperm and urination. The burning increases when I stop releasing semen to increase sex time. Even when I ejaculate the semen comes out in lower volume and slowly. Not like squirt and high volume which I used to have 1-2 years back. If I release semen 2nd time in 2-3 hours gap i feel during erection and hardly any semen comes out. Ultrasound always comes out normal. Is it due to daily sex ? Or some serious condition?

Few months ago in the morning when I woke up, I noticed a mild pain and heaviness in my right groin and leg then I saw my right testicle was not sitting like it used to, it rotated then after few days, I felt heaviness in my right leg whenever I walk, then I noticed my testicle used to rotate frequently in the scrotum and recently the spermatic cord started to feel a bit entangled and the testis has got shorter in size as well as slimmer. My right groin hurts too sometimes like a burning sensation. The right part of the testis feels so soft and the spermatic cord is definitely not straight like it used to be. What's going on with my testis? Due to this I can't walk with comfort. I went through a scrotal ultrasound last month for this and a left varicocele was noted but nothing showed up for the right but I can clearly see a difference in size, shape and how the spermatic cord used to be.

I have chronic Prostatitis at age 27 kindly give me exercises and diet and medicine to cure this. Symptoms inflammation in pereneum area which comes after a day of ejeculation.

I have been suffering from chronic Epididymitis and testicular discomfort and mild residual pain which comes and goes since 04 months. I have taken anti biotics and done ultrasound which comes okay with mild inflammation only no sign of bacteria and currently going with homeopathic and Ayurvedic treatment. I HAVE BEEN WONDERING that can I apply any oral ointment or oil if at all such oil exist, which can alleviate the symptoms of discomfort and mild pain over scortum (which is very sensitive). Please suggest that should I apply anything over it and what OR medically it should not be.

Hi, I had stones in my left kidney(3mm) in 2022 but it has passed through and I had consulted the doctor and took required medications and I was okay after that. Now I'm experiencing pain in my lower back and groin area. Is there any chance of stones again ?? Is it possible to get it again in 3 years ?? Will this continue throughout my life ?? Please help me with this query!!
