High blood glucose

My mother has been diagnosed with diabetes for the past 22 years. Last year, she started experiencing abdominal pain, which was found to be due to appendicitis. In February, she had surgery to remove her appendix. The biopsy showed LAMN. After the surgery, her glucose levels returned to normal. However, after some time, she began to experience pain in one leg, which was diagnosed as sciatica. Currently, she has experienced a lot of relief and is almost recovered. Her orthopedic doctor prescribed pregabalin to help with nerve repair for the sciatica. As soon as she started taking that medication, she began feeling low energy, and her blood glucose levels increased significantly. Her fasting blood sugar is approximately 270 mg/dL, and her post-meal levels are around 370 mg/dL. We are looking for ways to manage her diabetes and bring her glucose levels back to normal. She currently takes 30 units of lantus in morning and 15 units thrice a day of fiasp.

Thyroid nodules

My wife was diagnosed with thyroid nodules 6 months with size 3×2.3×2.7 cm. Needle test suggestive colloid nodule. The endocrinologist advised a repeat scan after 6 months, and today, we scanned, and it shows Nodule mild increase in size I.e 3.1×2.5×3.4 cm And also a few small nodules seen in the right lobe , the largest measuring 3.9x3.9 mm. Is there anything to worry about? What would be the right course of treatment ? 6 back, the endocrinologist suggested removing the thyroid gland if it was in size. Is this a significant increase for surgery, or RFA is better ? Who is the top specialist surgeon in bangalore to address this?

So why HBA1C value is 5.9 ? My fasting sugar is ok and Post meal sugar is around 115.
