My wife had been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and cold nodules at the thyroid site, its been 8 months since she is taking medicine, no improvement in the size and also no reduction in the symptoms, other doctor said it might be hashimoto, other doctor said it is goiter,other doctor said that thyroidectomy is the solution,no one has really diagnosed with the right thing,what's more worrying is the size of the nodule is increasing. Right tests Right diagnosis Right treatment is what I seek at the earliest.

Loosing lot of Weight day by day.what is solution so that I can gain some weight. Is it from diabities or any other thing?

My mother is diabetic and has hypertension too. Her cholesterol was boundry line when we checked 1.5 years back. Since then she was taking attorva 10 which was changed to Rosubest 20 a week back. I now need to get her vaccinated for COVID. According to her present health condition and medications which vaccine should we go for? Or are both the same? Covishield or Covaxin?

Is sweet corn bhajji/ fried sweet corn allowed for Diabetics? Is wheat flour that we purchase from super market Like Ashirwad chakki aata allowed?

My mother has sugars 120/180 fbs/ppbs as of now. Some days its 135/200 She had covid first symptom on 4th April and recovered on 14th April. She was treated at home and had steroids for 5-6 days (deflazacort 12mg per day). Today is 37th day of her recovery. Is she in risk of mucormycosis? No symptoms, but she did dusting at home without mask by mistake, and I was worried. Are her sugar levels so high which make her prone to black fungus?

How much sugar post covid makes you prone to mucormycosis? Is there a number? The term uncontrolled diabetes is very vague.

My fater is 75 years old and living active life. On a daily basis, he walk around 7-8 km and he is diabetic from last 25 years. From last 20 years, he is taking only one medicine- Glimceed 2PM in morning and evening before 30 minutes of meal. Although, he is not monitoring his sugar level but Yesterday he checked his sugar level at home after 2 hours from breakfast and it was 332. It is tough to go hospital for consultation with doctor. Is it dangerous? Request to suggest for medicines.

Hello doc, My queries are : 1. Why all doctors stressing on diabetes at risk ??? 2. Why there are no black fungus cases in high sugar level patients earlier ??? 3. Will black fungus come in diabetic patients without history of covid ??? Or it will come due to high steroid usage in diabetic patients ??? 4. If a patient is diabetic without history of covid how much fbs and ppbs levels are to be maintained to reduce the risk of black fungus??? 5. Why earlier doctors are not stressed on diabetes risk to black fungus, but why now ??? Please give useful and relevant information with brief... Thank you...

I am asking for my father he is feeling pins-and-needles sensation with weakness and headache  in right side of the body  from last 4 days he is also a diabetic patients and taking a following medicines Vilnox -M 500 Glimisave MV 2.3 Amlopres TL His current blood sugar -  fasting 264 mg/dl and 2 hr after meal 372 mg/dl Is this problem due to high blood sugar or its a any neurological problem ?. Please help And what we can do further ?
