Need medical guidence
My fater is 75 years old and living active life. On a daily basis, he walk around 7-8 km and he is diabetic from last 25 years. From last 20 years, he is taking only one medicine- Glimceed 2PM in morning and evening before 30 minutes of meal. Although, he is not monitoring his sugar level but Yesterday he checked his sugar level at home after 2 hours from breakfast and it was 332. It is tough to go hospital for consultation with doctor. Is it dangerous? Request to suggest for medicines.

He is already on full dose of glimeperide which is the most potent medicine. Also it seems he on pioglitazone which isn’t a very good drug for his age. Sugar levels are also very high. U need to consult a Diabetologist
