Context- In the area where I reside, its a very common belief that 'mata' (holy spirit) can reside in body of a person. My mom has had this issue for last 15-20 years. Sometimes randomly she would get triggered, start talking as another person, refering herself in third person. In the duration of these episodes, she claims being a powerful holy deity. More often than not, she has intense bodyache before/after these episodes. Recently, her episodes have become so frequent- almost daily. She cries a lot. She feels that she is somewhat trapped here. I know this is a psychological issue. But what branch? Could someone give me any context on how to proceed? Does she need a therapist or a psychologist or another type of doctor? Could this treatment require taking medication?

I sleep 8-9 hours daily at night still i feel very sleepy through out the day i have an anxiety disorder i keep overthinking can this be related to this

During sleep, sometimes I walk During sleep. I talk during sleep. While sleeping I face difficulty in breathing. Heart beats increase during the sleep. And sometimes I am unable to sleep for the nights.

I have been consuming cannabis for last 11 years and smoking cigarette and weed from 7-8 months. My overall health has become worse due these habits. I have lost all my confidence in life. I cannot survive in life with these habits. I want to quit all 3 habits and want to give a restart of my life. I seriously feeling very guilty while consuming any of these 3. For last one month I face night sweats regularly in mid winter. I consult my general consultant he tested my ecg and it's normal. I told to my psychiatrist cause I am anxiety patient too but he can't give me any solution. I read some articles over the internet there are long list of diseases. I fear about incurable diseases. There also mentioned about anti depression tablets are may the reason .(olanex f lithosun 300)so I stopped all my medicine last 10 days. I am very much depressed. please help doctors.

Hi. , have been struggling with stress eating and mostly it is because I stay alone and away from family. I feel lonely and stressed at times and do overthink. I take resort in food. Any cortisol Controlljng supplement that is safe and won't affect any of my female cycle .

For the last few months, I have increased overthinking attacks. I have anxiety and stress, I get scared at night . I have difficulty sleeping. Unable to achieve sleep cycle properly.
