Hi My bp machine shows irregular heartbeat sign 2 out of 4 times when I check my bp. Is it due to anxiety as my heart beat suddenly increases on checking blood pressure. I have anxiety from Medical things ( checking blood pressure , lab reports , visiting allopathic doctor etc). Blood pressure comes out to be mostly normal (less than 135/75). What exactly is irregular heartbeat ? Is it due to anxiety or I should I go for some cardiac tests as well ( had a ecg , echo in May and it was fine ). Lipid profile also fine ( done in October).
