My daughter is 5 months old and gums are swollen. Her Pediatrician said that Calcarea phos can be given, but I have heard from many people that it should not be started before 6 months. She is not able to sit on her own as of now and has decent neck control. At what age this medicine should be started and what dose? Can it be given with milk or it should be crushed and then given?

My son turns 4 this june, it's been few days that my son is frequently passing bowl, after every food and liquid intake. In a day he goes 3-4 times. He is eating very less. Please help me suggest medicine or consultation.
