Opinion regarding report of mamogram
A focal asymmetry is seen in the left breast, upper outer quadrant with a circumscribed density.
Additionally, a spot compression view of the left breast was taken (LSCC view), which revealed a suspicious spiculated mass in the region of the visualized asymmetry.
On
ultrasound, an
irregular hypochoic lesion measuring 0.7 cm x 0.6 cm x 0.7 cm is seen at 10 o'clock position, 4 cm away from the nipple at 2 o'clock position. It appears relatively stiff on elastography.
Minimal internal vascularity is seen on color Doppler.

Sour secretions from mouth
My father was diagnosed with tongue cancer last March and underwent a hemiglossectomy followed by 30 radiation sessions. It has now been six months since completing radiation. He recovered well overall and experienced heavy neck tightness during the first three months, which has improved but is still present.
Our main concern now is that he has been having sour-tasting secretions in his mouth, which make all food taste sour. This has been going on for about three months with no improvement. His radiation oncologist hasn’t been able to determine the cause, and we even consulted a gastroenterologist to rule out acid reflux, but that wasn’t the issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you !

Bone metastatic
Hello Doctor,
I’m seeking a second opinion regarding my mother’s latest whole-spine MRI done on 1st December 2025. Her cancer reoccurred in the bones with metastasis (Stage 4) in 2022, after which she underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and has been on monthly immunotherapy (Trastuzumab) since then till today.
MRI Findings (1st Dec 2025)
Interval progression of vertebral metastatic lesions
New metastatic lesions at D6 and L1
Clumping of cauda equina roots at L1–L2
Worsening D7 vertebral compression
Nerve root narrowing at L4–L5 and L5–S1
Clinical symptoms:
Numbness below the knee
Persistent pain despite ongoing treatment
Could you please review the report and advise if this requires urgent intervention, additional tests, or any change in her treatment plan?
Thank you, Doctor.
