Cancer Care and Treatment

There is swelling near my thyroid gland but it reduces after few days and appears again after 2-3 months persists for 15 days and again reduces. I am having thyroid medication for the last 20 years. Additionally I have sore throat and appears that there is some cough in my throat. I had suffered from tb when I was 8 years old and also have developed bronchitis. I have lost 4-5 kgs weight in the last 6 months. Is there something I need to worry about?

Dear doctor, platelets getting reduced day by day. Within 4 months it is getting gradually decreased and decreased PCT. The platelets got decreased from 32800 to 25600 on 17 January. Now today it is further reduced to 21000. Severe body pain I am having past 15 day's. I am feeling tired.

I noticed blister like bump on my areola few months ago. I have attached it's picture. It's not painful and hasn't changed since then. No discharge or any other symptoms. During my childhood I accidentally found a bump on my scalp under skin then, we went for a doctor and he told it is normal if you have no symptoms but after 10 to 15 years I am little afraid and want to know is it normal or should I see a doctor?? Sir, can ct scan cause cancer it is my first time for it neuro surgeon told me go for ct scan brain help me on this i feel doubt about it

My mother was recently operated for mastectomy post mammography and biopsy. Histopathlogy reports post surgery indicate they got all of the tumors out in the breast with negative margins. There were 2 tumors, both pathologically considered T2 (staging), as suspected by her imaging. However, her lymph nodes are involved (5+) and there are cells outside of the lymph nodes in her axillary region (N2 stage). Both Oncosurgeon and Oncologist confirm she  requires radiation and chemotherapy as next step of treatment. However both Oncosurgeon and Oncologist were not ready to prescribe PET SCAN pre or post surgery and pre Chemotherapy or pre Radiation. What could be the reason? When such huge amounts are being spend on surgeries and therapy why the hesitation for PET full body scan? Would it not had given a better picture pre surgery? Won't it give a better picture before starting chemotherapy and radiation especially when radiation is specific and focused and not for full body?

My aunt has recently diagnosed due to pain near right side of breast and post check up it is said that it might be breast cancer but biopsy is still pending to be done.. Request to guide and suggest on basis of attached report.
