Hello, i m taking mukta vati tablet for bp(150/90) since 6 months on doctr advice, on tv and news paper it is showing its banned, can i know why is it banned, is it true, shal i take it or not?

Hello, My father has a drinking habit. He occasionally drinks at least once or twice a week. I am tired of telling him that this may cause liver issues in future but he says that he is taking liv 52 ds for this regularly. I don't know what could be done.
