Kidney Problems

Size of the stone is 7.5mm, so I need advice whether I should go for surgery or medicinal treatment with lots of water intake on daily basis will be fine. The consulting doctor has said it is upto my decision as conventional way of breaking/ dissolving the stone will take some time which also depends upon water intake on daily basis.

Hi Doctor. I got a pain past 2 weeks ago. Then i did ultra sound and ct scan. In ultra sound the stone visible size is 1.4*0.6 cms. After that i did CT scan in which the stone size is 0.9* 0.6 cms. Is that means the stone is getting dissolved? From past 10 days i dont have any pain..and drinking 4 litres per day...no block in urine. What should i do next? Will i continue having more drinks? Will it be dissolved? Any tablets you suggest?

Does the prostate size increase with prostatitis. My husband's prostate size is 18.5 CC and he is suffering with urinary urgency. Does he have to go for PSA or any other tests

I had uti from past 15 days for first 3 to 4 days i didn't take any medicine later on i took Azithromycin for 3 days ,one dose single day, late on it still didn't go , so i started taking taximo it's been 6 days my uti symptoms are reduced but they are still prevailing I'm having burning in my urethra without having the urge to pee,but symptoms are less now , but they aren't going what to do to treat them?

Hi My wife experienced severe abdomen pain and we had an ultrasound thinking that it was a gall stone. But there are no stones in the gall bladder. Ultrasound identified a small stone in the right kidney which is 2MM microlith. The report says non obstructive right renal calculus. Is this alarming? What should we do? Any medication is required? What food diet she should follow. Kindly suggest. Do we have to consult an urologist?

Recently I have done my full body checkup. As per test my phosphorus level is 5.76 . Should I worry about this as the normal reference range mentioned in report is between 2.5 to 4.5 .   Also my choloride level is 97.6 against normal reference range of 101 to 109. Kindly guide me regarding above mentioned levels and what can I do to lower phosphorus levels.
