I have become thin as compared to when I was in my 45-50 year s age.
I have a thin body type and a controlled diabetic female from last 10 years.

At this age of yours , I would highly recommend taking calcium and vitamin D3 supplements regularly .
As a long term diabetic patient you need to add Vitamin B 12 as well to avoid any neuropathies common with diabetes .
You should also add more protein in your diet , along with omega 3 , zinc , iron , vitamin C and more and more fibers .
For hot flushes , wear light cotton clothes mostly , keep yourself in a cool environment , avoid stress , keep hydrated , do exercises / weight training / walking regularly . If unbearable , than we can add certain medicines as well .
