Iron deficiency anemia
I am prescribed to have iron injections as i have very low serum iron levels but hb 8.7 are they safe..?? What are the possible complications of these inj and how long my body will take to adust to these..?? P.s.other than my iron report everything is fine with me

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Of course they are safe, if they were not safe then why do you think you would have been prescribed? And why would you think your body would need iron in the first place. Pain at the site of injection and a certain metallic taste may happen. Nothing else. Best regards.
