Hello, Weight loss can be of many reasons like hypothyroidism, PCOD, hormonal imbalances etc. It is important to find the reason and treat accordingly. If there is no health issues, you should refrain yourself from following crash diets and should follow a healthy diet. You can consult a dietitian who can help you better. As general tips, avoid junk and fatty foods, limit oil consumption, keep yourself active throughout the day, never skip your meals, take more fibre rich foods like greens, vegetables, fruits whole grains etc. You can replace your unhealthy snacks with vegetable juices or whole fruits. Drink more water and it can be taken in the form of jeera water or barley water and most importantly breathe deeply. Hope this helps. Wishing you good health.

hi. there could be many reasons for your weight gain. in weight loss what we are looking at is the fat loss, which is a slow process, it is very important to eat right in this process. even the walk, the speed matters, the amount matters. If there is no sweat, or the speed is slow it would not affect as much as brisk walking would, and if the walk lasts only for 15 to 20 mins would again not show much difference, as the that much time the body takes only to warm up, from the 21st minute, the body starts utilizing fat for energy. for the diet, you need to make sure you are eating in every small intervals, as that would help enhance your BMR and thus promote loss of fat. your diet should contain major complex carbohydrate and fiber, good quality protein and very less visible fat. a sustained effort towards your goal, complete dedication towards the right diet and the physical activity, with a half kg weight loss per week is good to go.
