Good to know that you completed your TB treatment successfully and gaining weight has helped to fighting the disease. I won't suggest any weight loss stress to you at present. Just take healthy protein rich home cooked meals. I would also like to know details of your illness and treatment  before starting with diet plan . Book a call from app . Till then take care. Eat good and do some exercise

Weight gain after completing TB treatment is quite common. During illness, the body loses weight and muscle, and once recovery starts, appetite improves and weight comes back. The goal now should be gradual fat loss while maintaining strength and immunity. - Avoid extreme dieting; follow 3 balanced meals + 1–2 small snacks to keep metabolism stable. - Focus on portion control, especially for rice, roti, and calorie-dense foods. Include protein in every meal (dal, eggs, chicken, fish, paneer, tofu) to prevent muscle loss. - Increase vegetables and fruits for fiber and better satiety. - Limit fried foods, sweets, and processed snacks which may have increased post-recovery. - Stay well hydrated. - Start with regular physical activity (30–45 mins daily) and gradually include light strength training to improve metabolism and body composition.

Weight gain after completing TB treatment is common as the body recovers. Focus on balanced nutrition, portion control, and gradual physical activity rather than crash dieting. A personalized diet plan based on your lifestyle and recovery stage can help safely reduce 3–4 kg. You may consult for a detailed assessment and customized plan.

After TB treatment, weight management needs to be handled very carefully Important No crash dieting Focus on fat loss , not muscle loss Maintain high protein + balance diet Support immunity + lung recovery Strat slow : Week 1. 15-20 min / walking Then increase to 30-40 min Add : yoga + breathing ( helps lungs recover) Avoid: Fried foods , bakery, sugar drinks Excess tea / coffee Processed foods Heavy gym immediately after TB Key Nutrients Needed : Protein ( dal , eggs, paneer , chicken ) Iron and B12 Vitamin D and zinc Extra Tip Rebuild strength + lose fat slowly
