Hi, Weight is a sum total of Bone, Water, Muscle and fat. You need to gain muscle to get healthy .Have a well balanced diet. Eat 6-8 meals a day. Have carbohydrate and protein rich food combinations like Banana or Mango milkshake, Mix nuts and dryfruit chikkis, Soya or paneer veg rolls etc. Include high biological value proteins which are very well absorbed like- Milk, curd,Paneer, Meat,Fish,Eggs etc. Include essential fats like Almonds, walnuts, flaxseeds etc. Eat on waking up and do have a bed time meal like milk and light snack. Sleep for 9-10 hours. Optimally hydrate yourself with water every hour.

Hi! I understand your concern. Many parents go through this situation, as providing proper nourishment can be stressful. Your child requires high calorie and high protein foods, along with healthy fats in food items that are easy to eat and are appealing to your little one. Nuts, dry fruits, fruit smoothies, home made laddus and barfi can be few options for daily high protein snacks. Add ghee to her meals as well as in dal, roti dough and rice. If she is active and healthy, don’t worry too much about her weight, as long as she’s eating nutritious food.
Next Steps
Give small, frequent meals, high protein snacks .
