Dear Practo User I can understand ur concern about weight gain issue.. But when u ask a query to get help in a public forum like this, u should  have atleast mentioned ur present weight and height.. So it will be tough to assume things and suggest a diet modification.
Next Steps
You can request for a practo consultation from any of the dietician you feel is good enf to help u.
Health Tips
Eating more quantity food won't make u fit /energetic or makes you gain weight. You must choose the right nutrition as per ur BMR. Do go for strength training. It will help you gain muscle mass.

Weight is a sum total of Bone, Water, Muscle and fat. You need to gain muscle to get healthy.Have a well balanced diet. Eat 6-8 meals a day. Have carbohydrate and protein rich food combinations like Banana or Mango milkshake, Mix nuts and dryfruit chikkis,Soya or paneer veg rolls etc. Include high biological value proteins which are very well absorbed like- Milk, curd,Paneer, Meat,Fish,Eggs etc. Include essential fats like Almonds, walnuts, flaxseeds etc. Eat on waking up and do have a bed time meal like milk and light snack. Do not fast or overeat as this will not help.
