You have mild intermittent dizziness and were prescribed Stemetil MD 5 mg (prochlorperazine). This medicine: • Reduces vertigo sensation • Controls nausea • Can cause drowsiness in some people Because dizziness occurs during the day, the timing depends on: • When your symptoms are worst • Whether the medicine makes you sleepy If dizziness happens mainly in daytime → take it in the morning after food. If it causes sleepiness → better to take it at bedtime. Since you have mild symptoms, once daily is usually sufficient.

Health Tips
✔ Stay hydrated ✔ Avoid sudden head movements ✔ Check BP once ✔ Avoid long screen exposure ✔ Sleep properly ✔ Do not drive if dizzy If dizziness continues more than 5–7 days, or increases, you may need evaluation for vestibular causes rather than just symptom control. I recommend booking an online consultation so we can assess the pattern of dizziness properly and treat the root cause instead of only suppressing symptoms.

Stemetil MD (prochlorperazine 5 mg) is commonly prescribed for vertigo, dizziness, or balance-related symptoms. You can take it once daily after food. Preferably at night (bedtime) because this medicine can sometimes cause sleepiness or mild drowsiness. Taking it at night reduces daytime discomfort. Important points Keep tablet under the tongue and let it dissolve (MD = mouth dissolving). Avoid driving if you feel sleepy after taking it. Stay well hydrated and avoid sudden position changes. If dizziness persists more than a few days, or you develop headache, vomiting, ear symptoms, or fainting sensation, further evaluation may be needed. For detailed evaluation and treatment guidance, text me on Practo anytime.
