Postpartum joint pains, especially in the wrists, ankles, and feet, can be due to several causes, including hormonal changes, fluid shifts, musculoskeletal strain from childbirth and childcare, or even inflammatory conditions such as postpartum thyroiditis or early rheumatoid arthritis. It’s important to evaluate the pattern and duration of your symptoms. I would recommend a detailed clinical examination along with relevant investigations such as thyroid function tests, vitamin D and calcium levels, and inflammatory markers like ESR and CRP. Meanwhile, supportive measures like adequate rest, gentle physiotherapy, and symptomatic relief with analgesics may help. Please consult a for a personalized evaluation and management plan.

For wrist and ankle joint pain relief, try applying ice packs, taking over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen, and using gentle exercises and stretches to maintain flexibility.
