I recently got chest pain and it's mild, but my pain continued to arms and back. So i went to cardiologist ECG and 2D echo tests were done, reports came out that my heart is perfectly alright. I also have gas issues so doctor told me it would be because of gas and gave me some tabs and I'm using it but I'm not feeling any pain in the abdomen or bloating like that but i burp more than average. Sometimes i feel pain at my legs and hands and it fades away and again at chest or back some where or the other but not face and abdomen. I guess this might not be because of only gas. Is it any muscle spasm or nerve? I'm not experiencing any severe pain it's just a mild uncomfortable pain. What should i do?

Hello,
You have already ruled out heart problems with ECG and 2D Echo, which is very reassuring. The kind of shifting, mild pain you describe (moving between chest, arms, back, legs) with no typical gastric symptoms is less likely to be due to the heart or gas alone.
Common possibilities in your case include:
Musculoskeletal causes â muscle spasm, posture-related strain, cervical or back nerve irritation.
Nerve-related pain â sometimes nerve compression in the neck/back can cause pain that shifts to arms or back.
Anxiety or stress component â can mimic chest discomfort with body pain.
Less commonly, vitamin deficiencies (B12, D, calcium) can cause muscle/nerve pains.
â What you can do:
Continue the prescribed gastric medicines for now.
Correct posture, gentle stretching, and regular exercise.
Get blood tests for Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, calcium.
If pain persists or worsens, consult a physician/orthopedician for evaluation of muscles, nerves, and spine.

Since your ECG and 2D echo are normal, serious heart disease is unlikely. The mild, shifting pain you describe may be due to acidity, muscle spasm, or even nerve-related causes. Gas alone usually does not cause pain in arms and legs.
Next Steps
Maintain a regular meal schedule, avoid heavy/oily foods, excess tea/coffee, and late meals.
Gentle stretching, posture correction, and regular exercise may help if it’s muscle related.
Keep a symptom diary (time of day, relation to food/activity) to show your doctor.
If pain becomes severe, persistent, or associated with breathlessness, sweating, or dizziness, seek urgent medical help.
For reassurance and further evaluation, you may consult a physician/neurologist.
Health Tips
Your heart reports are fine, but don’t ignore chest pain—monitor symptoms closely and get reviewed if they worsen.
It looks like vitamins deficiency it occurs mostly in vegetarians who also lack in taking milk and milk products
And those taking more oily and spicy meals as you are burping more too . So check your vit D3,B12 , iron and LFT
You May be having deficiency in all these and altered liver function
Change life style expose more to sun light specially in morning for 30 minutes daily and include healthy diet
With nut and seed fruits and non veg milk and milk products daily
It depends on ur body weight height - I mean BMI ..if u r lean then it's ok...if u r obese ..then things change..
Case 1 .
If u r lean ...then ...look for food u eat.. time u eat..if u eat and then u go to bed immediately then u will feel discomfort like burping , heart burn.
It's not spasm ..it's like u r not giving proper time for ur stomach to process the food properly..
Case 2
If u r obese ...then definitely ur habits is not good...improper eating time ..eating heavy junk or sugar rich food ..or eating after sleeping..
Next Steps
after eating ..walk for atleast 10-15 mins ... after tat drink hot water ( a glass-200 ml) then after 10 mins go to sleep...
don't drink too much water while taking food...it will decrease the digesting capacity of stomach...and will increase the chance of acidity and gas problem.
It's gastritis.
Only as cardiac test normal.
Nexpro RD40 ONE IN EMPTY STOMACH FOR 7 days.
Mucain gel 10ml without water nothing by mouth till 30min can be taken 3to 4times.
CHANGE LIFE STYLE N DIET PLAN DRASTICALLY FIRST.
Get Haemoglobin, blood sugar and thyroid function tests done. Please share results and also share what meds. You have taken so far. Then I can help you.
At your age , there is no need to worry any serious illness , burping has lots of reason , if you are a mouth breather its one of the cause , or due to carbonated drinks so many causes there
Since your reports are fine, your symptoms are more likely due to gastritis and micronutrients deficiency. For detailed evaluation and prescription kindly connect.
Next Steps
Avoid tea/coffee on empty stomach.
Do not skip meals.
Get Serum B12 levels and vit D levels checked.
Hello, since your recent ECG and 2D echo are normal, a serious heart problem is less likely. The mild, shifting pains you describe (chest, arms, back, legs) along with frequent burping may be related to acidity/gastritis, gas, muscle strain, or even anxiety.
Next Steps
You can continue the medicines prescribed for gastritis, take meals on time, avoid excess tea/coffee/spicy foods, and do light regular exercise. Gentle stretching can also help if it is muscle-related.
Health Tips
If the pain becomes severe, continuous, or associated with breathlessness, sweating, or dizziness, please visit the ER immediately. Otherwise, you can follow up with your physician or gastroenterologist for further evaluation if symptoms persist.
Doesn’t looks like cardiac issue
Mostly Acid peptic disease only

Hello, since your ECG and 2D echo tests have come back as normal results, you do not need to worry about any heart issue. However you pain in legs and hands can be due to muscle pain which may be due to exercise or excessive workload due to occupation. It is unlikely to be due to an nerve pain as it is very mild. Your gas issue or burp may be due to acid reflux and it would be advisable to take Tablet Pan 40 for 5 days in the morning, half an hour before eating breakfast.
Next Steps
check Vit B12 levels and take Tablet PAN 40 for 5 days in morning, half an hour before eating breakfast.
Health Tips
Eat meals at regular times and avoid lifting any heavy weights.
It’s a misnomer that gastritis only presents in your stomach. It can present as chest pains and back pains. But since you are telling the pain occurs in your legs and arms as well it can be muscle cramps/ spasms. Kindly consult with me for further evaluation. Need more info regarding your daily activities in order to identify the cause. For now continue to take the tablets prescribed for gastritis and complete the course. Consult for further evaluation and treatment.
