Your combination of fever + body pain + cough + yellow urine, along with:
• TLC 11,500 (mildly high)
• Bilirubin 1.7 mg/dL (mild elevation)
suggests a systemic infection or inflammatory illness, most commonly:
• Viral fever (post-viral phase) OR
• Respiratory infection with dehydration
• Less commonly: early liver involvement due to infection, medicines, or dehydration
Important points:
• TLC 11,500 is not dangerously high
• Bilirubin 1.7 is mild, often rises with fever, dehydration, or liver stress
• Yellow urine is often from concentrated urine, not necessarily liver failure
⚠️ This does NOT look like acute liver failure or a medical emergency right now, but it needs proper evaluation, especially since symptoms are persisting for 10 days.
Next Steps
Immediate actions
• Hydration is critical:
→ 3–3.5 liters/day (water + ORS)
• Continue paracetamol only if fever >100°F
(max 3,000 mg/day)
Investigations you should get
Ask your doctor for:
1. LFT (repeat, including SGOT/SGPT, ALP, GGT)
2. Urine routine + microscopy
3. CRP / ESR (to assess infection severity)
4. Chest X-ray (because cough + fever)
5. Dengue / Malaria / Typhoid tests (if fever persists)
⚠️ Avoid alcohol, unnecessary antibiotics, and painkillers (NSAIDs) until liver enzymes are reviewed.
Health Tips
• Eat light, home-cooked food (rice, dal, curd, fruits)
• Avoid oily, fried, and junk foods
• Rest adequately—don’t push yourself physically
• Monitor:
• Fever pattern
• Urine color
• Yellowing of eyes/skin
• If you develop:
• Persistent vomiting
• Severe abdominal pain
• Increasing jaundice
→ seek urgent medical care

I understand this situation can be worrying—especially when blood reports look abnormal. The good news is that your values suggest a reversible condition, not permanent damage. With correct evaluation and supportive care, most patients recover fully.
If you’d like, we can go through your full reports together step-by-step in an online consultation, so nothing important is missed and you get clear direction without unnecessary medicines.
