Hello doc , my 7 month old baby had viral fever 12 days ago..now he is fine but now i am having symptoms of viral fever ( fever and sore throat)
My question is , will my baby get infection again by me as I am breastfeeding mother.. and which medicine is safe for me..

No need to worry.
You can put mask and feed him.
Avoid touching him if youre having any sneezing and cough.
Plan for antibiotics and supportive medication.
We cannot predict the possibility of your baby contracting fever from you However you can continue nursing (breastfeed )him .Antibodies to fight infection are also transferred from mother to child through breast milk. as baby is seven month old continue giving him supplementary food as usual along with the breast milk.
You can take paracetamol(available without prescription)tablet for your fever which is safer in breastfeeding
