It appears to be a viral fever, which usually resolves on its own and does not require antibiotics. Please ensure adequate rest and maintain good hydration. You may take ORS frequently to keep the body well hydrated. Symptomatic medications can be taken for relief of fever or discomfort. If symptoms persist or worsen, please feel free to contact me for further evaluation.

Your symptoms of high-grade fever, sore throat, loose motions, nausea, and headache suggest a probable acute viral infection. This could be a viral flu-like illness or viral gastroenteritis, which can cause both throat symptoms and gastrointestinal symptoms together. Sometimes infections like viral fever, influenza, or seasonal viral infections can cause persistent fever for 24–48 hours even after starting medication, so the fever not settling immediately does not always mean the treatment is failing. However, dehydration from loose motions and poor oral intake can worsen weakness and headache.
Next Steps
• Continue the fever medicine prescribed by your doctor (commonly Paracetamol) as advised. • Drink oral rehydration solution (ORS) frequently to prevent dehydration from loose motions. • Try small, light meals such as rice, banana, curd, toast, or khichdi. • If fever remains above 101°F for more than 48 hours, you may need basic tests like CBC, malaria test, dengue test, or typhoid test depending on local prevalence. • Seek urgent medical evaluation if you develop persistent vomiting, severe abdominal pain, inability to drink fluids, very high fever (>103°F), or dizziness.
Health Tips
• Rest well and avoid heavy or oily foods until symptoms settle. • Drink plenty of fluids such as ORS, coconut water, soups, and warm water. • For throat soreness, warm salt water gargles 2–3 times daily can help. • Monitor temperature every 4–6 hours to track fever pattern. • Keep watching for signs of dehydration such as dry mouth, reduced urine, or severe weakness. If your fever and symptoms continue despite medication, it would be best to review your exact medicines, temperature readings, and hydration status, so feel free to book an online consultation and I can guide you step-by-step on whether further tests or treatment adjustments are needed.

Sounds like some viral cause which is causing upper respiratory symptoms like throat pain etc and abdominal complaints as well. Take a proper consultation to examine your oral cavity and tonsils first Following which one can guide you regarding the correct treatment Take proper rest and keep yourself hydrated Avoid spicy , oily or anything from outside.

Would need more detailed history weather fever with chills , any colour of sputum while coughing and further dietary and personnel history for absolute diagnosis Would also need the name of the medications given by local practitioner as augmentin 625 mg taken thrice can cause loose stools and nausea
Next Steps
for temperature control best to take paracetamol for now but best would be to consult directly
Health Tips
if temp is above 103 use cold sponging along with pcm and get routine blood tests for further discussion
