Dry cough & Mild Fever

Asked for Female, 28 Years

I am 31 weeks pregnant. I have Dry cough and mild fever. My gync suggested to take Dolo 650. I was afraid to take but still Dry cough with cold and sore throat.So I took only half tablet. Will that affect my baby. I very much worried.

Hi, I must appreciate your concern regarding self medication As not all Medicine are safe in pregnancy. Dolo(Paracetamol) is safe, and you can take it in case of fever. You may also take Tab lCZ 5mg once daily for dry cough. Drink plenty of oral fluids. Hope you get well soon. Best wishes.
