Fever and cough
I am 30 years old and I have fever 99-100 and cough since 3 days now and I have been taking ibugesic plus syrup whenever I get fever or body pain because nothing else works like Dolo or only paracetamol etc so I use to take 30 ml as it's a kids medcine but I read 30 ml is high dose please suggest
Me the dosage...
please don't suggest any other medicine only I want to know the dosage

Aap jo dose (30 ml ibugesic plus syrup) le rahi hain, wo adult ke liye appropriate nahi hai aur overdose ka risk ho sakta hai.
Is type ki medicines ka dose weight aur composition (paracetamol + ibuprofen content) ke hisaab se calculate hota hai, isliye fixed ml dose lena safe nahi hota.
Fever 99–100 with cough zyada tar viral hota hai aur symptomatic treatment se theek ho jata hai

You can take meftal forte 1 tab 3 times a day
and if it’s not subsiding still and it’s been 3 days get your fever profile done once

30 ml is high dose, avoid.
Take 10–15 ml per dose, max 3–4 times/day after food.
Do not exceed this.

Get cbp with esr, x ray chest, widal test done and share results..Though you do not want to switch over, but it would be better, if instead of taking such high doses of ibugesic syp, just take tab combiflam one every 8hours after meals, do some tepid sponging over forehead, limbs.

Even if it's labeled for kids, the cumulative amount of Ibuprofen can cause severe gastric irritation or even internal bleeding if continued. If regular Paracetamol (Dolo 650) isn't working for your fever, it indicates we need to find the underlying cause of the fever (like a bacterial infection or viral load) rather than just increasing the painkiller dose."
