Corona vaccination along with anxiety
Hi doctor, My husband is taking anxiety medicine from last one month . And he took corona vaccination yesterday. Is it any harm in taking anxiety medicine along with corona vaccination. Actually he is again not feeling well today. He is saying ghabrahat ho rahi hai. Thanks for your reply

There is no harm in taking anxiolytic after vaccination. His anxiety may have precipitated after vaccine after effects. It may take 3 to 4 days to get over. He should take some antacid also.

Hello, Covid vaccination had rumours that it causes some problems but its not true,he can continue with what medication he is taking.Due to vaccination there can be mild symptoms of cold and fever nothing else.Ghabrahat is one of the symptoms of anxiety.Tell him to forget about vaccination and indulge in positive activities and try some breathing and relaxation exercises.

Hi... As per present data, vaccination is known to be safe with other medicines or medical condition. Everyone is supposed to get Vaccinated. These vaccines basically mimic the covid virus so that our body generates antibodies in advance to fight Covid-19. The vaccine itself doesn't contain any substance that prevents us from Covid-19, it only initiates the process of our body to generate antibodies to fight Covid-19.
