Your wife’s lipid profile (non-fasting) is mostly normal / low-risk for a 27-year-old woman with no diabetes, no hypertension, no smoking history mentioned, and only one child (15 months old). Key values summary: • Total Cholesterol: 151 mg/dL → normal (
Next Steps
• No medicine needed right now — her lipid profile is good. • Repeat fasting lipid profile in 2–4 weeks (as suggested in report) — this is just for confirmation (non-fasting can slightly overestimate triglycerides). • If fasting report remains similar → no further action needed beyond lifestyle. • See her gynecologist / general physician once in next 3–6 months for routine check (post-childbirth + future pregnancy planning).
Health Tips
• Continue healthy habits (she is already doing well): • Breastfeeding (if still doing) naturally improves lipids (lowers triglycerides, raises HDL) • Keep walking / light exercise 30–45 min most days • Eat home-cooked Indian diet: more vegetables, dal, whole grains, curd, fruits; less deep-fried, sweets, maida • Avoid excess ghee/oil, processed food, packaged snacks • Precautions (very mild — she is already low-risk): • Limit sugar/jaggery/sweets to small amounts • Use healthy oils (mustard, groundnut, rice bran, olive) for cooking • Avoid smoking / second-hand smoke • Maintain healthy weight (post-delivery weight loss helps lipids further) • Future pregnancy planning — lipids are already good; no special precautions needed now. Recheck lipids + thyroid + Hb during next preconception check-up. Her report is normal and reassuring — no need to worry about cholesterol or heart risk at this stage. Focus on general health, breastfeeding/nutrition, and repeat fasting test for final confirmation (likely will be similar or even better). If you share the fasting repeat report later or any new symptoms appear, feel free to consult online — happy to explain further. Take care of her and the little one

Reports are o.k., except mildly low Haemoglobin. Give her syp R.B. tone 5m.l. morning and evening for 2 weeks. Tab neurobion forte one daily for 2 weeks. She should take more of fresh green vegetables, beetroot, pumpkin, fruits like pomegranate, apple, nuts, sprouts.
