Hi... This is neither big, nor small. It is something that has been bothering you from quite some time and you need to address it. Nothing happens overnight. You might be going through some issues and may be repressing them and now they are coming out in the form of panic and anxiety. There is a possibility of a genetic/biological root as well but in lot of cases it is purely Cognitive/Psycho-social. Psychotherapy/Counselling will help you deal with your condition better. It will help you get an insight into the underlying issues and identify your core issues and address them from the root.
Next Steps
Start taking Counselling Sessions from a Psychologist. Following a healthy routine in terms of proper and timely Meals, Sleep, Exercise, and Breathing/Meditation will help you get back your control over your mood.
