The combination of nausea lasting 3-4 days along with pain in the right shoulder and back is a symptom pattern that needs proper clinical evaluation. One important cause to rule out is a gallbladder problem â gallstones or gallbladder inflammation classically cause nausea paired with pain radiating to the right shoulder and upper back. The forehead pain could be related to tension headache or sinusitis and may be a separate issue. This combination of symptoms should not be left unevaluated.
Next Steps
Please see a doctor soon for an examination and an ultrasound of the abdomen. Avoid fatty and fried food in the meantime. Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.
Could be just dyspepsia, muscular pain or gall bladder infection or stones or inflammation.
Please share details of your symptoms.
Avoid fried, spicy food. Take small frequent meals.
Take tab pantaprazole 40mg one daily before breakfast for 7 days.
Tab Ultracet one every 8hours for 4 days.
Get ultrasound abdomen done and share results.
Pain in the right upper back or right shoulder blade area that occurs alongside nausea is a classic sign of biliary irritation or a gallbladder issue, such as mild gallbladder inflammation (cholecystitis) or small gallstones. The phrenic nerve, which travels near the gallbladder and liver, shares a pathway with the nerves supplying the right shoulder capsule, causing the brain to perceive a digestive issue as shoulder discomfort (referred pain).
Next Steps
A forehead headache occurring alongside nausea can be triggered by a few different factors. It could be a primary tension headache or a migraine episode brought on by the physical stress and exhaustion of dealing with constant nausea for 4 days, or it could stem from dehydration if your fluid intake has dropped due to feeling sick.
~Drink plenty of water
