UTI medication query
I was diagnosed with very mild UTI yesterday as I was having pain on left side of lower abdomen.I was asked to take ciplox 500 for five days two tablet each day.
Actually I was having hepatitis a three months back and it got cured 2 month back and my sgpt was ,85 last week when checked.So is it safe to have ciplox 500

It is ok to have the antibiotics now that your hepatitis is cured, you can have the medications but do monitor your liver function test regularly. Drink plenty of fluids during this time period of 7 days have an increased amount of 3.5 liters of water as it will help with the UTI.
