Typhoid fever
My mother in law is suffering from typhoid fever and did not have any food for a day now. She's become very weak. Any idea as to what food can be given? She's is diabetic and has hypertension with thyroid.

Instead of treating her at home please admit her in the nearby hospital. It'll just be for 3-4 days. And IV medications and proper fluid and diet will be given to her.

Hello sir good morning. You mentioned that your mother is suffering from hypertension and diabetes with thyroid and taking treatment I think so because you are not mentioned. Regarding the diet please give her very soft food provided if herr blood sugar is under control. Please do not give any hard food including roti and Chapati and non-vegetarian food and food containing oil and spicy and masala food items at least 15 days. Your mother can take soft food with green leaves and vegetables with fruits and fruit juices and at least two litres of water in a day. If you want detail please try to consult me online.
