Got Typhoid from past 5-6 years
My mother's typhoid report shows positive with 60% and i got this issue every year in March April month due to which she feel fatigue all the time. Kindly suggest some permanent cure for this issue.

What's her age? Widal is not confirmatory. To diagnose typhoid in blood test is challenge. Always there should be a clinical correlation. Typhoid patients have high grade continues fever. Unless otherwise we treat them, they will become more sick. First thing is check her temperature if it is above 99 then you can go for fever profile test. Does she have any other co morbidities like diabetes

Please update with detailed report and symptoms.If it is widal it’s not confirmatory as it gives many false positive results.As your mother becomes aged she needs to take some additional investigations to confirm whether there is any GI,cardiac,renal issues

Advice:
Confirm with blood culture or Typhi IgM test during fever
