Azithromycin to be given in1000mg dose though many cases of typhoid are resistant to it, so it’s efficacy is doubtful & may not work in many typhoid cases. Cefexime 400mg BD is Drug of choice, but ciprofloxacin & ofloxacin can also be tried after consulting with physician. Kindly discuss the case with me for future help.
