Swelling  of foot
The inner side of the arch near the heel of my left foot has swollen up. When I press on the swelling it doesn't hurt. But once I start walking there is a pain in my foot. As soon as my foot feels an elevation while walking it hurts. How can the pain and swell be reduced??

Consider changing the footwear, shift to more comfortable shoes( orthopaedic footwear-consult a orthopaedic doctor before buying) If symptoms persist- consult a general practitioner, to rule out any other causes for your condition
Next Steps
