Small bump on skull
My daughter is aged 30+. She is having a small swelling on her skull for the last couple of years, and it does not bother her as such. It has grown very slightly over the years. We have consulted a skin specialist, who, after examination, ruled out anything sinister. But, it still keeps us worried. Would request the medical fraternity on this platform to give us their opinion, and also suggest   about medical tests that should be able to exterminate our worries on this.

A small swelling on the skull that has grown slightly over the years and has been ruled out as sinister by a specialist is likely benign. Common causes include lipomas, sebaceous cysts, or fibromas. However, it is understandable to seek reassurance.
Next Steps
To address your concerns and gain further clarity, you may consider imaging tests such as an ultrasound or a CT scan, which can provide detailed insights into the nature of the swelling. A biopsy may also be considered if the swelling shows further changes. Please consult a dermatologist or a general surgeon for a detailed evaluation and advice on whether additional tests are necessary.
Health Tips
Monitor the swelling for any rapid growth, changes in color, or associated symptoms like pain. Avoid frequent manipulation or pressure on the area to prevent irritation.
