Reducing clonazepam dose
Hello, I was taking clonazepam 0.5 mg tablet for Anxiety from last 3 months. My dosage was 0.5 mg half a tablet in the morning and 0.5 mg one full tablet in the night as prescribed by the doctor. Last week my doctor told that we need to cut on the dose and suggested me to take quarter of 0.5 mg in the morning and in the night same dose 0.5 mg 1 full tablet. Since I started taking quarter ( taking half in half a tablet)of 0.5 mg , my sleep has been disturbed. I'm not getting any other symptoms but only sleep has been disturbed. Please some one let me know is this expected? Is this withdrawal symptom? If this is the withdrawal symptom for how long will it last? My doctor said if you face difficulty for 2-3 days do not have to worry and only go with the reduced dose... But it's been a week am losing sound sleep. Please help.

A good way to deal with anxiety is to take therapy sessions along with medications. That ways when the dosage is modified, you have the required tools to deal with the changes and stay on the path to healing from your anxiety.
