Hi... There are certain therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and more simpler techniques like Motivational Counselling, that can help you go back to your normal routine.
It is much more easy to do with the help of a professional, than alone. Although it's not that you can't recover back to normal on your own.
Next Steps
Start taking Counselling Sessions from a Psychologist.
Following a healthy routine in terms of proper and timely Meals, Sleep, Exercise, Breathing/Meditation will help you get back your control over your mood.
Thank you for asking this question. It must be very overwhelming for you to experience this.
It's perfectly normal to experience a fear of going out due to COVID. The pandemic has taken a toll on us, however, here are a few things you can do to manage the anxiety:
Take things slow: Start small, include a few things which involve an interaction with the outside world
Be safe: Take all the necessary precautions, wear a mask at all times and sanitise everything!
Write down your fears: Make a worry hierarchy, list out things that you're worried might happen when you go out and find ways to work around them!
However, this might be hard to deal with, if it gets overwhelming, please consult a therapist.
Next Steps
Reflect on the thoughts
Health Tips
If things still feel overwhelming, it would be advisable to talk to a therapist.
Hello dear
I can understand how you might be feeling. You are scared to do any outdoor activity or to move out. Due to catching Covid before and looking at its negative effects in your surroundings and what people were facing at the time you got Covid, there is an insecurity and fear of catching Covid the next time you move out or meet people. There might be many other reasons but you aren't able to identify.
But you don't need to worry anymore. Consult a psychologist or a counsellor.
You can also consult me and we will together not only explore the reasons behind your fear, but I will also help you out through the process of your recovery.
