You’re in your **22nd week of pregnancy**, so we need to be very careful — remedies must be **safe for you and the baby**. In pregnancy, Ayurveda suggests Garbhasanskar.* we give medicines according to development of baby according to month. *mild, natural measures** only, avoiding strong medicines, detox, or Panchakarma. ### Why Pitta Increases in Pregnancy * Pregnancy naturally increases **heat (pitta)** in the body. * This can show as acidity, burning sensation, irritability, rashes, excessive thirst, disturbed sleep, etc. --- ## 🌿 Safe Pitta-Reducing Measures for Pregnancy ### 1. **Diet (Ahara)** * Take **cooling foods**: * Rice, wheat, moong dal, bottle gourd, pumpkin, ash gourd. * Sweet fruits: pomegranate, apple, pear, ripe banana, grapes. * Milk with a little sugar (avoid too much). * Avoid **pitta-aggravating foods**: * Spicy, sour, deep-fried, pickles, excess garlic, onion, fermented foods. * Excess tea/coffee, cola, packaged juices. ### 2. **Drinks** * **Coconut water** – excellent natural pitta pacifier. * **Gulkand with milk** (1 tsp, if no diabetes/gestational diabetes). * **Fennel water** (soak 1 tsp fennel overnight in water, drink in morning). ### 3. **Lifestyle (Vihara)** * Stay in **cool, calm environment**. * Avoid excess sun, heat, anger, or overwork. * Wear **light cotton clothes**. * Do gentle **prenatal yoga** and **deep breathing** (under guidance). ### 4. **External Cooling** * Apply **sandalwood paste or rose water** on forehead during burning sensation. * Bath with lukewarm (not hot) water. --- ## 🚫 Avoid in Pregnancy * No **Panchakarma (like virechan, basti only in 9th month etc.)**. * No **strong herbs** like kutki, triphala in high dose, or bitter purgatives. --- ✅ **Summary:** join our garbhasanskar class. Stick to cooling diet, coconut water, milk, gulkand, fennel water, and calming lifestyle. These are safe for pregnancy and will reduce pitta. Would you like me to prepare a **sample pitta-pacifying daily diet chart (pregnancy-safe)** for you? Advice- self medication is hazardous, always consult ayurvedic doctor before taking ayurvedic medicine. Consult me personally for details.

See, during pregnancy your body is already working extra, and if pitta increases too much, it can create heat in the system and that may become uncomfortable or even risky for you and the baby. Symptoms like excessive itching, burning sensations, acidity, disturbed sleep, even skin rashes can come when pitta goes high. Since you are 22 weeks pregnant, we need to handle this very gently – because not everything is safe to take in pregnancy. The good thing is, Ayurveda has very safe, natural ways to balance pitta through specific diet, lifestyle, and pregnancy-safe remedies, but it has to be customised according to your prakriti and current condition. So it would be better if we do a detailed consultation – I can guide you on what foods to avoid, what cooling herbs and home remedies are actually safe for you right now, and also how to prevent complications later in pregnancy. Don’t ignore pitta at this stage – better to balance it early for your and baby’s health

Hello, starting it’s quite common for Pitta to increase during pregnancy, so don’t worry too much. However, you may experience symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or sweating. To manage this, follow these tips: 1. Eat small portions at regular intervals (avoid heavy meals). 2. Avoid spicy and heavily masala-based foods. 3. Drink buttermilk. 4. Have fresh coconut water. 5. Try to avoid going out in the sun. 6. Take gentle walks in the moonlight. For more personalized guidance, you can consult me.

•Prefer cooling, sweet, light foods: rice, milk, ghee (small quantity), moong dal, pumpkin, cucumber, coconut, sweet fruits (pear, apple, grapes, pomegranate). •Avoid spicy, sour, salty, oily, fried foods, tomatoes, pickles, citrus in excess, coffee/tea. •Drink lukewarm or room temperature water (not chilled, not very hot). •Coconut water and diluted buttermilk (with a pinch of roasted cumin) are very good. • Home Remedies (Mild & Safe) Aloe vera pulp (small amount, not juice with preservatives) can soothe heat but only under doctor’s advice. Dry coriander seed water: soak overnight, drink in morning (helps acidity, burning). Cow’s ghee (1 tsp) daily with warm milk (if digestion allows) – pacifies pitta and supports pregnancy. Fennel seeds (saunf) infusion – cooling for digestion and pitta.
