Namaste! Your symptoms and the changes after Dadimashtak make complete sense from an Ayurvedic perspective — let me explain clearly.
Why this happened:
Dadimashtak Churna is primarily a Vata-Kapha pacifying and Agni-deepana (digestive fire stimulating) formula. It is hot (ushna), dry (ruksha) and light (laghu) in nature.
Since you already had Vata imbalance with dry skin and feeling cold — Dadimashtak, while it corrected your loose motions, has further aggravated your Vata by adding more dryness and coldness to an already Vata-dominant constitution.
The sticky stools suggest mild Ama (toxin) accumulation is still present, and the increased gas is classic Apana Vata still not fully regulated.
What your body needs now:
Your Pitta is showing through the cheek rashes and acidity — but your primary issue right now is Vata with Ama, which needs a different approach:
∙ Warm, unctuous (sneha-yukta) foods — ghee in dal, khichdi
∙ Avoid raw, cold, and dry foods completely
∙ Dashamoola or Hingvashtak Churna may suit better at this stage
∙ Warm sesame oil massage (Abhyanga) daily for dry skin and cold feeling

It sounds like you’re looking at this through the lens of Ayurveda. In that tradition, Vata is governed by air and ether, so when it's out of balance, it often manifests exactly as you described: feeling cold, experiencing bloating or gas, and having dry skin or joints.
Since Vata is "cold and dry," the general approach to balancing it involves "warm and moist" fixes:
Warmth: Stick to warm cooked foods and drinks (avoiding ice water or raw salads).
Oil: Internal healthy fats (like ghee) and external oil massages (Abhyanga) help combat that dryness.
Routine: Vata thrives on a regular sleep and meal schedule to ground that "airy" energy.
If you're considering a consultation at a clinic like Nirvaan Ayurved, they would likely give you a specific plan tailored to your Prakriti (your unique natural constitution) to help keep those symptoms from popping up so often.
Your earlier symptoms suggested Vata-Pitta imbalance with loose motion. Dadimashtaka helps control diarrhea by improving digestion and absorbing excess fluid, which is why your stools became well formed. However, because it has grahi and slightly drying properties, it can sometimes increase Vata, leading to symptoms like gas, dry skin, and feeling cold.
