My recommendations would be: ✅ Control cravings rather than completely restricting foods. Extreme restriction can sometimes make cravings worse. Instead, keep portion sizes moderate and limit these foods to occasional treats. ✅ Increase protein intake at every meal (eggs, chicken, fish, paneer, tofu, dals, Greek yogurt, etc.). Protein helps improve satiety and reduces unnecessary snacking. ✅ Include more fiber-rich foods such as vegetables, fruits, salads, whole grains, and legumes. Fiber helps control hunger and supports digestion. ✅ Reduce liquid calories from juices, soft drinks, and sweetened beverages. Choose whole fruits instead, as they provide fiber and are more filling. ✅ Maintain regular meal timings. Skipping meals often leads to stronger cravings and overeating later in the day. ✅ Stay physically active. Aim for a combination of strength training and cardio exercise. Strength training is especially important to preserve muscle mass while reducing body fat. ✅ Monitor your sleep and stress levels. Poor sleep and high stress can increase hunger hormones and trigger cravings for high-calorie foods. If the weight gain has been very sudden or is accompanied by fatigue, menstrual irregularities, excessive hunger, or other underline medical conditions like thyroid, Insulin resistance,  PMOS, Deficiency of Vitamin D & B12, then you have to get the test done to know the root cause.
