Hello doctor, my 5 year old daughter complains of constant pain in both legs and thighs very frequently. Especially at night she wakes up from the sleep crying, only after giving medicine does she settle down. She is physically active but avoids eating veggies and milk too. Kindly advise remedies for the same.

Sounds like, your daughter is having growing pains which is common among the children.Growing pains usually cause an aching or throbbing feeling in the legs. This pain often occurs in the front of the thighs, the calves or behind the knees. Usually both legs hurt.
Growing pains usually get better on their own in a year or two.
For the pain you can give her paracetamol syrup and applying warm water pack will help.
Vitamin d supplement helps in reducing the pain episodes .

Growing pains.light stretching and some warm pack about 15 minutes before sleeping can help.
Need to increase iron and calcium intake through food if she is not anemic.you can try innovative recipes to get her to eat .salad and fruits are also a good option.
