Your persistent fever, dry cough, and high total leukocyte count (LCT) of 17,000 indicate an ongoing infection or inflammation that requires a detailed evaluation. Possible Causes: 1. Bacterial or Viral Infection – Despite normal malaria and typhoid tests, other infections (like pneumonia, TB, or post-viral inflammation) must be considered. 2. Chronic or Atypical Infection – Certain infections (like atypical bacterial pneumonia or COVID-related complications) can cause prolonged symptoms. 3. Underlying Lung Issues – If cough persists, conditions like bronchitis or an allergic response should be ruled out. What You Should Do: ✅ Chest X-ray, Sputum Culture, and Additional Blood Tests may be required. ✅ Review Current Medications to check if antibiotics or antiviral treatment needs adjustment. ✅ If fever and cough persist beyond 15 days, detailed consultation with a specialist is necessary. I highly recommend a personal consultation for a thorough assessment. Feel free to WhatsApp me at eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two for further guidance.

For fever, try home remedies like drinking plenty of fluids, electrolyte-rich beverages like coconut water or oral rehydration solutions, ginger, peppermint oil, chamomile tea, and bland foods like bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast (BRAT diet), while also getting plenty of rest and practicing good hygiene.
