Empty stomach alcohol consumption
My husband and I consumed alcohol. Everything went well ; my husband had little more than me. When he got up in the morning ; he got unconscious for 2 times for 1-2 mins each. After that I realised may be his bp is low as he didn't eat anything after the drinks. He had last meal at 5pm and drinks at 9 pm and slept. This situation of unconsciousness was around 5 am in the morning and he wanted to puke that time. He didn't puke. After that I gave him food to eat. And he was normal, I got his bp, sugar ecg checked around 8 am. What could be the reason???

Hello, this could be due to alcohol intoxication effect on brain or it can be due to low blood sugar. Since alcohol does not have any calories in it so drinking only alcohol and not eating anything can lead to low blood sugar. So better drink within limits and don't forget to eat. Tc
