Since this is a new development, I’d suggest: 1. Stop alcohol completely for now 2. Get checked with LFTs, thyroid function, and ECG 3. I want to know about any new medicines or herbal remedies you started in the past 1–2 months . After doing all your reports contact me for further treatment.

I understand your concern. The symptoms you describe — sudden facial redness, rapid heartbeat, and feeling hot after even a small amount of alcohol — are not typical if you have tolerated alcohol well for 5 years. When such a new reaction appears within the last 30–40 days, it’s important to take it seriously. Possible reasons can include: •New sensitivity or intolerance to alcohol (sometimes develops later in life). • Interaction with medicines or supplements you may have recently started. •Liver-related issues that can change how alcohol is metabolized. •Heart rhythm changes or blood pressure issues unmasked by alcohol. •Underlying gastric or metabolic changes (like changes in enzyme activity, thyroid, or other systemic causes). Since this is new for you, it’s not safe to ignore. A doctor will need to evaluate with history, examination, and possibly some blood tests (liver function, thyroid, CBC, etc.).

Avoid alcohol and consultation
